Terms and Conditions

Policies You Need to Know

1. Member designer confirms that all personal information, including their sales tax identification, is accurate and valid before purchase.

2. Member designer agrees to pay all Sales / Use Taxes per state laws.

3. Member designer agrees to pay 100% of the payment due at the time of order.

4. Member designer agrees to pay all costs of obtaining a strike-off or additional manufacturer requirements to complete the order, i.e., extra yardage, knit backing, etc.

5. Manufacturers' warranties and standard terms and conditions apply. Member designers may find these terms and conditions on the manufacturer's website.

7. The manufacturer has the right to cancel any order.

8. HABITATERY is not responsible for and bears no liability for manufacturer lead time, delays, discontinued items, shipping, damages, and the like.

9. Member designer agrees to pay for cancellations, exchanges, and returns fees.

10. HABITATERY shall not be liable for delay in shipment for any cause, nor shall any delay entitle you to cancel any order after it has shipped or refuse delivery. Delivery may occur in multiple lots depending upon the availability of the products constituting an order.

11. Member designers may only purchase orders using a form of payment under which they are the sole account holder.

12. The practice of “Showrooming,” i.e., visiting brick-and-mortar retail stores to research merchandise and utilize resources before purchasing from HABITATERY, is not allowed. Upon reports of showrooming, member designers will first be warned in writing; upon the second report, the member designer will be terminated from HABITATERY.

13. The pricing provided is solely for HABITATERY member designers and shall not be available or issued to anyone outside of HABITATERY member designers.

14. Independent from and unassociated with HABITATERY, all White Glove Delivery, In-Home Delivery, or Commercial Delivery services are non-refundable.

15. Manufacturer warranty is void if any person has attempted repairs or modifications without consent from HABITATERY. The exclusive remedy for any defective product is at the manufacturer’s discretion.

16. Return/ Cancelation Policy

Return/Cancellation requests must be submitted 5 days from the time of delivery and are subject to approval from the manufacturer awarding approval or a Return Manufacturer Authorization (RMA).

Only stock/ standard orders provided by the manufacturer are available for return/ cancelation. Orders with custom features or specifications are final sales and cannot be returned/ canceled. Funds awarded to member designers resulting from a return, cancelation, or claim are provided as HABITATERY house credits, with no exceptions. HABITATERY house credits can be used towards all represented manufacturers and never expire.

Return/ Cancellation fees from HABITATERY and the manufacturer apply and will be subtracted before a house credit is provided.
